In my research and artistic practice I explore the societal implications of digital technologies and Big Tech, with a particular focus on power relations, imaginaries and infrastructures.

I am a research assistant in the field of Ethics of Digitalisation at Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. I hold an MA in Design & Computation from the University of the Arts Berlin and the Technical University Berlin and a BSc in Computer Science and Gender Studies from Humboldt University Berlin.

Anna Kraher (she/her) is a researcher and artist exploring the societal implications of digital technologies. Her work focuses particularly on the interplay between power structures, imaginaries and technological infrastructures, as well as on predictive analytics and questions of temporality. She is a research assistant in the field of Ethics of Digitalisation at the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg and part of the Critical Data Lab. Previously, she was affiliated with the Ethics and Critical Theories of Artificial Intelligence research group at Osnabrück University, the Data Ethics Outreach LabAlgorithmWatch and the Center for Transdisciplinary Gender Studies at Humboldt University. She studied Design & Computation, Computer Science, and Gender Studies in Berlin.
